12/10/07 - New conductive silver ink that can be printed for circuits, RFID, and other electronic applications.  This ink can be applied to plastic, paper, and cloth of all types.  Nano Silver ink provides electromagnetic shielding.  Also, printable Nano Silver ink paste is available.

05/30/07 - Nano Silver for EMI and RFI Shielding.  Electromagnetic Interference can be shielded by use of Silver Ink and Silver Paste.  These silver inks and silver pastes can be applied to plastics and glass.

02/01/07 - New Nano Silver conductive ink.  Conductive ink paste for screening, conductive ink jet ink, and high reflective silver ink.  These products can be applied to paper, plastic cloth, metal, and powder coatings.

02/21/06 - Getter Paste for vacuum devices.  KIA is pleased to announce a new product for use in micro devices and lamps, where you may need a getter to help maintain a low vacuum over time.  This getter is a paste that is made up of small particles of ZnAl powder mixed with a binder vehicle.  Currently, we have 2 types high activation of 700-900C and low activation temp of 450C.  For more information, please contact us at 727-867-8781.

12/05/05 - RFID Nano Silver Conductive Powder.  KIA is pleased to advise high purity true nano silver highly conductive products are available for RFID antenna and Smart Card circuits.  These can be screen printed or ink jet applied.  True nano size of 4.7 nm diameter.  Products currently available are:
Nano Silver Powder, Silver Paste, Silver Ink.  Typical applications:  circuits, RFID tag, Smart Cards, Battery, Solar cells.

10/01/04 - Sapphire polishing and other hard crystal materials.  KIA, Inc. is pleased to advise our PW-50 Colloidal Silica is being used to polish Sapphire Crystals with great success.  Contact us for more information.  Colloidal Silica reduces scrap rate and also improves polishing removal rates, providing a double benefit.

01/28/04 - Effective February 1, 2004, KIA has moved its Westlake, Ohio office to St. Petersburg, Florida.  This will provide better nationwide sales coverage in the USA. 

01/05/04 - KIA is pleased to advise that we are now offering highly conductive graphite coatings for use in batteries, fuel cells, and other applications.  KIA graphite coatings have particle sizes less than 15 microns with typical resistance at 1 mil of 0.022 ohm per sq.  These coatings are water based and are very stable and safe to use.  Please contact sales@kemcointernational.com for more information.

12/20/03 - KIA anti-static protective coating was approved for use on aircraft fuel doors, by a major aircraft manufacturing company.

03/05/03 - KIA is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Richard Heiden to our group of technical consultants.  Dr. Heiden has over 25 years experience in a wide range of industrial applications, materials, and processes.  He is widely recognized as an expert in the areas of water treatment and industrial contamination control.  He worked extensively with material and process contamination issues, industrial process water systems, recycling and reuse of water and factory wastewater, and developed advanced testing procedures for monitoring processes in the microelectronics industry.  

Dr. Heiden worked for the Thomson/GE Group where he was responsible for the analytical and services laboratories.  There, CRT and Electron Tubes, silicon devices, materials, and chemical processes were developed.  The labs supported the manufacturing, material and process development, and environmental control efforts of the corporation.  

Dr. Heiden is available to bring his understanding of chemical principles and management skills to a broad range of technical problems at your factory, including such areas as:

05/10/02 - KIA completed the first annual Media Tech Show, held in Frankfurt, Germany.  The show was a great success with KIA Lacquer receiving 69 new inquiries for UV Lacquer and adhesive applications.

03/01/02 - KIA sales now extend to over 25 different countries around the world.  KIA has active marketing and sales efforts at over 400 companies.  Sales at KIA are expected to double in the next years.

02/10/02 - KIA and RCA Thomson Group sign new long term distributor agreement for RCA coatings.  KIA has been selling RCA coatings for almost 20 years.  The new agreement gives KIA worldwide exclusive distribution and sales for the high tech products.

01/01/02 - KIA and SKC renewed a JC agreement / distributor agreement.  KIA and SKC are working jointly to develop and sell the newest UV coatings and adhesives for optical discs and other electronic applications.

5/1/01 - KIA/SKC CD Lacquer provides 5 to 10 times lower 
Bler Rates than our competitors.  This relates to 5 to 10 times longer
CD life for the end customer.  

4/30/01 - Customers achieve cost savings.  Customers claim
KIA/SKC CD Lacquer usage is 10 to 15% less than use of competitors
lacquer.  This provides a 10 to 15% cost savings per month to the
customer because less lacquer is needed or required. 

2/22/01 - KIA completes a successful exhibit at the REPLItech
North America trade show, held February 20-22, 2001 in Los Angeles,
