LA-239 - SPRAY FILMING LACQUER


DESCRIPTION:

LA-239 is a lacquer designed to provide a reflective coating on the phosphor screens of color television picture tubes which are to be vacuum metallized.

FEATURES:
is a chemically pure product that is filtered through 1 Micron filters. This reduces the possibility of film defects during the processing of the color screens.
TYPICAL PROJECT DATA: Total Solids - 4.80 - 5.00 viscosity - 14-16 sec # 2 Zahn cup
Appearance - Clear, colorless liquid, completely free from suspended
matter observed with the naked eye. Wt/Gallon: - 7.20 Typical
Copper concent. (cu) - less than .03 ppm
Iron Concent. (Fe) - less than .02 ppm

REDUCTION:

None

APPLICATION:

Spray - Through spraying systems SS110 nozzle at 30 - 40 lbs tank pressure.
STORAGE AND HANDLING:
LA-239 filming lacquer contains flammable solvents. Keep away from open flames or sparks. Containers should be tightly sealed to prevent solvent evaporation, thereby upsetting the solvent balance of the system. Storage periods exceeding six months should be avoided. Material should be used in well ventilated area.

SHIPPING CONTAINERS:

Five gallon and fifty-five gallon non-returnable unlined tight head pails and drums.
