G972A INTERNAL CONDUCTIVE NECK COATING



Product Description: G972A is an aqueous conductive coating containing suspended particles of graphite and iron oxide in a sodium silicate solution.

Features: G972A internal conductive neck coating for color kinescopes has very good adherence to glass, low electrical resistance, and good scratch resistance.

Total Solids - 35 to 40 wt%
Density - 1.35 to 1.41 g/cm3
Viscosity - 13 to 18 sec (44 Ford Cup at 250C)
Flash Point - None

Application:
Method - Brush
Diluent - Deionized water may be used
Drying - I to 2 minutes in air on a warm (40-600C) fimel

Performance (I -mil thick baked film):
Resistance - 150 to 350 ohms/inch
Hardness - Greater than 450 g-load (Hoffman Scratch Test)

Shipped in I gal bottles or 5 gal drums
Do not freeze; shelf life is 6 months (unopened)
