FOAM-4000 CONDUCTIVE COATING

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The FOAM4000 Series, is a water based coating of graphite and conductive carbon in a modified vinyl/acrylic resin system. The coatings have been formulated to provide a conductive film on a wide range of materials preventing a build-up of a static electrical charge on the electronic components.

FEATURES:
The FOAM-4000 provides a tough flexible coating on a variety of substrates including foams, fabrics, cardboard, paper and many plastics. The thoroughly dried film has superior humidity and water resistance.

TYPICAL PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS:
Color: Black
Solids: 34 to 38 %
Density 9. 10 to 9.50 lb/gallon
Viscosity: 400 to 500 cps Brookfield LVT(#3, 60 rpm @ 25 *C)

ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE:
Available in 10 different levels of resistance from 100 to 50,000 Ohms/ liner inch.

APPLICATION:
The coating is provided ready-to-use and may be applied by roller, spray, brush and dip application and when dry produces a smooth hard conductive deposit with excellent abrasion resistance.

DRYING:
Me coating will air dry in 10 to 20 minutes or heated forced air will accelerate drying. On a porous material drying times will be increased slightly.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:
The coating should be mixed thoroughly before use. To lower the viscosity small amounts of clean tap water can be added if necessary.
