DX-1958 - ANTI CORONA COATING

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: 
DX-1958 Anti Corona coating is a silicone containing a resin solution designed to provide an insulating coating around the anode buttons of cathode ray tubes.

FEATURES: 
DX-1958 coating may be air dried at room temperature to provide exceptionally high electrical resistance providing excellent arc resistance under conditions of high humidity.

Color              Transparent red to dark red
Viscosity         14.0 - 16.0 (# 2 Zahn cup @ 77degrees F)
Total Solids     9.5 - 10.5%
Wt./Gallon      7.2 - 7.4 lbs
Flash Point      53 degrees F (open cup)

REDUCTION: 
None required - toluol may be used.

APPLICATION: 
Spray or brush - Dries in 15-20 minutes at room temperature.

STORAGE & HANDLING: 
DX-1958 Anti Corona coating contains flammable solvents. Keep away from open flames or sparks. Containers should be tightly sealed to prevent solvent evaporation, thereby, upsetting the solvent balance of the system. Storage periods exceeding six months should be avoided. Material should be used in a well ventilated area.

SHIPPING: 
Five gallon and fifty-five gallon, non-returnable, epoxy phenolic lined
tight head pails and drums.
